Q&A with Stephanie

Want to get to know a little bit more about me before you hit that "Contact Me / Check Availability" button?

Well then grab a cup of tea as and get comfy!

Q. Sunrise or Sunset?

A. Sunset. Watching the sun sink behind the horizon as the glorious colours melt into navy blue, revealing the stars on a clear night is just magical.

Q. Favourite dessert?

A. Lemon meringue pie? No, wait - Banoffee Pie. No, wait - Cheesecake. No, wait - Donuts? Can I just have them all?

Q. Confetti or Sparklers?

A. Sparklers - so much fun to capture, and we can be so creative!

Q. Favourite Superhero?

A. Superman. If you haven't seen Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman from 1996, then you haven't lived.

Q. Something you can't leave home without?

A. Aside from phone, wallet, keys - sunglasses! Gotta protect those eyes even if it's cloudy!

Q. Favourite Animal?

A. In equal first place - tortoises, turtles, octopuses, rhinos, crabs, lobsters and humpback whales, oh and raccoons and skunks and cats. Can I throw in a triceratops?

Q. Favourite place on the planet?

A. Tofino, Vancouver Island in Canada. The coastline and temperate rainforest of that region are absolutely mesmerizing. When I win the lotto, you'll find me photographing weddings there.

Q. Favourite Book?

A. 2001: A Space Odyssey or Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

Q. You can travel to the past. Which period?

A. Mesopotamia. This is where it all began. To see the city of Ur in its full glory would be breath-taking.

Q. Tell us something that not many people know about you?

A. I've written and published 3 books. I also produced and recorded an audiobook version of one of them. That was a cool & intense couple of weeks in the recording studio. Loved every second of it though. If you're in London, go check out Crown Lane Studio in Morden, John is an absolute legend.

Q. Secret Obsession?

A. I have a problem with candles. I just keep buying them. I hide them around the flat so that Anthony doesn't know how many I've bought. I would quite happily not have any lights on and just live by candlelight.

Q. Favourite cuisine?

A. Is cheese a cuisine? No? Well I guess Indian then. Dahl Makhani, Saag Paneer, Chana Puri are my go toes. Pro tip - don't order a main at an Indian Restaurant, always order about 50 sides and a kilogram of naan bread.

Q. What has been your favourite wedding so far?

A. That's a tough one. They are all so unique, and with the pandemic there's been so many amazing smaller weddings that have really redefined what you can do at your wedding. My mind keeps going back to Collette & Ali though, at the mansion on the East Lothian shores. Crystal blue skies, the warmth from the sun and the relaxed, intimate atmosphere of their beautiful day.

Q. Favourite TV show?

A. Sci Fi - Stargate SG-1. Comedy - Frasier, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia & Fawlty Towers.
