Photography & Covid-19

Though the pandemic has brought to a halt many aspects of our lives, from holidays to birthday celebrations, it has also allowed us to form stronger bonds with our friends and family.

Covid-19 has made us all think twice about our lives and lockdown allowed us to appreciate the things in life that we treasure. Whether that is going out, adventuring across Europe or seeing those we may now not be able to, photography can help record the moment in time when we realised what truly is important.

"The Social Distancer"

Meet my favourite portrait lens, the Sigma 70-200m f2.8 EX DG OS HSM. That might be a lot of jibberish to you, but the most important thing for you about this lens is that it has a minimum focal distance of 1.4m.

That means the minimum distance between you and me for this lens to photograph is 1.4m, which is why I call it The Social Distancer.

I may choose to use other lenses during our photoshoot that have a shorter minimum focal distance. However, these will only be used in conjunction with my Covid-19 policies

Making You Feel Comfortable

If you have been to a restaurant or hotel this year, you will understand that getting re-accustomed to life outside your home can be a little overwhelming.

I want to reassure you that all photoshoots will continue to be fun and exciting and while some locations may be prohibited under the government guidelines, you will still be able to receive some stunning shots of you and your loved ones wherever we may be.

Whether you are celebrating a lockdown love or engagement, or just having the family back together again, let's capture these precious moments in defiance of all that this pandemic has tried to take away.

Should you have any questions during the photoshoot, please feel free to ask. I want you to have as much fun as possible in front of the camera as I do behind it.
